AAPI Momentum is a project of National CAPACD.

MISSION:

AAPI civic engagement and political participation have been steadily increasing in the 66 years since Chinese Americans became the first Asian Americans to win the right to vote. Simultaneously, numerous national, state and local AAPI organizations have arisen and built significant capacity in membership, programs, and infrastructure (physical, financial and technical). However, these organizations are often isolated from each other because of differing areas of focus, national/ethnic divisions, lack of resources, competing interests, geographic separation, etc.

Momentum seeks to be an online “connector” that brings together AAPI groups by highlighting their individual work, facilitating partnerships on issues of common purpose and centralizing information about the community in a unique online space.
