Committee of 100 Leadership and Mentoring Program Application Now Available

APEX is excited to be partnering with the Committee of 100 and administering the program in Southern California where Committee of 100 members will be serving as mentors.
The leadership/mentoring program’s primary intention is to develop young professionals by sharing the skills and life lessons of Committee of 100 members, in hopes that this process may foster future Committee of 100 members. We would like to develop strong professional business and community leaders, who are closely connected to their community, promote community involvement, and are interested in carrying on and enhancing Committee of 100’s mission.
Begin: September, 2010
Duration: To be determined by both mentor and mentee
Includes:

  • One or two large sessions (panels) and
  • An open schedule for the individual mentoring.
  • At least one (1) face-to-face meeting during the six (6) month program,
  • One (1) invitation to join a quarterly meeting with the local Committee of 100 members, or an annual mentoring program participant/alumni gathering, and
  • One (1) Committee of 100 or community service project or activity assigned to the mentee based on his/her interest. The volunteer task can either be a local Committee of 100 project (e.g. “Mandarin in School” project), a local community service project, or a Committee of 100 National Issue Committee project, or a C100 activity (e.g. annual conference).

  • Charlie Sie – Vice President of Xerox Corporation (retired), Visiting Professor at Nankai University

  • Andrea Wong – Former President and CEO, Lifetime Networks
