AAJC Applauds Action, Welcomes Victory for Equality WASHINGTON - The Asian American Justice Center welcomed Northern District of California U.S. District Chief Judge Vaughn R. Walker's decision Thursday that California cannot prevent gay couples from marrying. This is a major step forward for equality for all regardless of race, gender, religion or sexual orientation, said Marita Etcubañez,AAJC's program director.

AAJC offers a paid ($11/hour) development internship position for graduate or undergraduate students. The development intern works in the development office, assisting staff with the organization's many fundraising activities. As an intern you will have the chance to learn about AAJC's programming while understanding the fundraising initiatives taken in nonprofits to ensure program backing. The fall internship is 10-15 hours/per week from late-August/early-September through December.
